Home base

The wedding party stays together at the Oakland Villa — 517 Oakland Ave — Thursday through Sunday. It's also where the afterparty lands and where the Saturday buses pick up and drop off. Claim your room here → (five king rooms and two living-room pullouts). Landing Wednesday? You'll bunk with Jake & Oscar or at the family home for the first night, then move over Thursday.

The palette

Dress anywhere in the red → orange → burgundy range. Don't match each other exactly — pick different tones from the same family and let it read like one bolt of Italian silk pulled apart. Deeper shades photograph beautifully against the vines at golden hour; the brighter ones come alive under the string lights.

Gold jewellery over silver. Cream, bone and camel are safe pairings if you want to break up the colour. Avoid pink-reds and anything neon — think dried chilli, terracotta roof, wine in a glass, not fire engine.
